Voices of Peace
Data platform informing peacebuilding through lived experiences for Geneva Graduate Institute.
Voices of Peace visualizes a growing collection of statements from conflict-affected communities around the world that describe their own understanding of peace. The interactive platform and immersive exhibition make these local perspectives accessible to researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and the public.

Explore, search, and compare indicators
The vast collection can be explored in several ways. Browse all indicators by location, theme, and semantic proximity. Search and filter indicators to find the insights that matter most to you. Summaries reveal how locations and themes compare.
One word, many meanings
The dandelion metaphor reflects a community’s understanding of peace: a single form composed of many distinct parts, each carrying its own meaning. Every seed represents a statement from a local community somewhere in the world, grounded in a specific social, cultural, or geographic context and experience rather than a national narrative.
Holding space for every voice
The exhibition brings the Voices of Peace collection into shared space, where visitors can explore indicators physically and interact with them digitally. They are invited to contribute their own understanding of peace, adding a personal statement to the growing collection. Designed to be light and modular, the exhibition adapts to each new space, and because its base components can be sourced locally, it can travel internationally without relying on shipping.
